SOLUTION
Utilizing Datadragon’s real-time network application flow analytics, we determined that the network congestion was being caused by multiple automatic updates on individual devices. These background updates were eating up over 90% of the bandwidth. Through Datadragon, bandwidth was prioritized for critical applications, and traffic management was implemented to allocate no more than 20% of the service plan for automatic updates.

OUTCOME
Traffic prioritization now allows critical applications such as VoIP and production data to flow smoothly with no bottlenecks. The solution was instant and did not cause any pauses in production or packet drops. This created a frictionless experience where each application received the necessary bandwidth based on mission requirements.
